Good evening everyone,

From 1st September 2024, all v2 playlists will become end-of-life and no longer usable.

The migration to our newest v3 playlists will offer more secure services, regular channel updates and a better overall viewing experience.

Do I have a v2 or v3 playlist?

If you are using our recommended X3M Player app, you can check this yourself by doing the following:

  1. Open X3M Player to the main screen (Live TV, Series and Movies)
  2. Click on the cog (settings) in the top right.
  3. Scroll down to the Playlists and EPG section.
  4. Select "EDIT PLAYLISTS".
  5. If you have a v3, there will be a (V3) beside your playlist. If you have a v2 playlist; there will either be a (V2) or nothing beside your playlist.

If you are using an m3u and EPG URL:

  1. Locate your subscription e-mail (if you requested one)
  2. Look at the Line Details section
  3. If you have a v3; there will be a (v3) beside your Line ID. If you have a v2 playlist, it will only show your Line ID.

I already have a v3 playlist, what do I do?

NOTHING! Your services will not be affected.

I am still using a MAG device, am I affected?

No, you will not be affected.

I have a v2 playlist, how can I upgrade to v3?

If you using the latest version of the X3M Player app, we will automatically transition you to v3 without any downtime. If you need a copy of your updated line details (m3u and EPG URLs), open a support ticket and we will send this out to you via e-mail.

If you are using any other applications to view your services using an m3u and EPG URL, open a support ticket and we will get you migrated to v3 and supply your updated URLs.

What will happen if I am still on v2 on 1st September 2024?

You will experience a complete loss of service until you either:

  1. X3M Player - Update your app to the latest version with a v3 playlist and open a support ticket to have it manually migrated.
  2. M3U URL - Open a support ticket to have your line manually migrated and recieve your new m3u details.

We have provided you with a sufficient amount of time to get your services migrated, support tickets will be answered in the order they come in and you will have to wait until a member of the team has got to you.

There will be no further updates to v2 lines from today!
